M1 Liner Marked "ALLEN" (1964-1975)

The way the M1 helmet worked was that it was seperated into two pieces. Unlike other helmets, the liner was removable and had a fiberglass shell which supposedly made logistics easier since they didn't have to make different helmet sizes. This liner could be from anywhere between 1964 and 1975 because of the nylon coating and webbed suspension design, meaning this liner is most likely from the Vietnam War.

Noteworthy details: Kept in a damp environment judgind by the way the coating is chipping, marked "ALLEN" with a large piece of masking tape around the back.
