RLB Early M34 1934-1939

This is the only helmet of its kind that I've ever seen so to my knowledge it's one of the rarest that I own. The helmet is an early variant, identifiable by the square dip and bulged vents. The collectors that I have met call this style of helmet the "salt and pepper shaker" because of the bulged vents on the sides. The RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund or "Reich Air Protection League") was an organization in Nazi Germany that was in charge of air raid precautions. The helmet could be from 1933-1939 as that is before the RLB became the "Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts".

Noteworthy details: Almost perfect condition, Liner is stamped with two Mercedes-Benz logos, liner is marked with GRUPP (probably the soldiers name) in marker.
